- HUBLEY, Ada Jewell - 88, Farmington, Lunenburg Co., died May 13, 1995, in Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg. Born in Farmington, she was a daughter of the late Austin and Martha (Corkum) Crouse. She was a member of Barss Corner Baptist Church and was church organist and Sunday school teacher at Farmington Church Hall for many years. She was a past noble grand of Rhodora Rebekah Lodge, Maplewood. Surviving are daughters, Evangeline (Mrs Leland Wentzell), Maplewood; Beuhal Rafuse, Parkdale; Lucy (Mrs. Bramer Veinot), Nictaux; Marguerite (Mrs. Ronald Chliszczyk), Caledon, Ontario;; sons, Maurice, Farmington; Lester, Head of St. Margarets Bay; Paul, Harrietsfield, Halifax Co.; brothers, Herman, Farmington; Raymond, Lowell, the United States; 18 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; several foster grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband, Percy; a grandson; a great grandson; sisters, Ethel, Luetta, Eveline; half-sisters, Elva, Mildred, Alma; half brothers, Archibald and Aubrey Corkum. Funeral 2 pm today in Barss Corner Baptist Church, Rev. Karl Uhrstrum officiating. Burial in church cemetery. Donations to Barss Corner Baptist Church or Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg. Arrangements under the direction of Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
